1. Introduction

Welcome to MyHomeLearner (“Service”), operated by Cole Wulterkens, a sole proprietor (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

 

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Accounts are intended for parents or legal guardians. Students may not independently register accounts. Ownership of a learner profile may be transitioned to the learner once they reach 18 years of age.

 

3. Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Account sharing is discouraged. Multiple parent/guardian accounts may be associated with a single learner.

You are solely responsible for all data entered into the Service. MyHomeLearner does not verify or validate user-submitted data.

 

4. Nature of the Service

MyHomeLearner is a tool designed to assist in documenting homeschool education and generating transcripts.

  • The Service does not provide legal, academic, or educational advice.

  • We do not guarantee acceptance of transcripts by any college, institution, or organization.

  • GPA calculations are system-generated based on publicly documented formulas.

 

5. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis.

  • Active subscriptions allow full access, including data entry and updates.

  • Expired or inactive subscriptions provide limited read-only access.

  • Users may still export data and generate transcripts while inactive.

Refunds

All payments are non-refundable except in cases of billing error.

If a subscription is canceled, access continues through the end of the billing term.

 

6. User Content and Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data and content you submit.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your data

  • Use anonymized and aggregated data for analytics and platform improvement

 

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content

  • Misuse the Service to create false or misleading records

  • Attempt unauthorized access or system interference

  • Resell or distribute generated transcripts for commercial purposes

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.

 

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or deactivate accounts at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

If an account is marked for deletion:

  • You will be notified

  • You will have 30 days to request a data export

  • After 30 days, all data will be permanently deleted

 

9. Data Deletion by User

You may delete your data at any time:

  • Through your account settings

  • By contacting support@myhomelearner.com

Requests will be processed within 7 days.

Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

 

10. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers, including:

  • Cloudflare (CDN and security)

  • Brevo (transactional email)

  • Google Analytics (usage analytics)

These services may process data in accordance with their own policies.

 

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no warranties regarding:

  • Accuracy or reliability of outputs

  • Availability or uptime

  • Acceptance of generated transcripts

 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Educational, legal, or financial outcomes

  • Data loss (except where required by law)

  • Indirect or consequential damages

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States.

 

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
